There are college courses on Ethics and Sex, and a large body of material out there on the subject. You could probably find a way to cover it that doesn’t seem salacious, particularly if you pointed to certain current events and involving “immoral” sexual behavior which is a subjective evaluation, and “unethical” sexual behaviour, which involves the breaking of laws or other impingement of another person’s body/space in a sexual manner. Date rape and underage sex are more common amongst teens and college-aged people than we like to admit.

One thing you can do is point her to one of the podcast episodes that you think she would like… say… the Talking Dirty episode, or something you’re comfortable listening to with her. Spoon up together and queue up a few of the episodes, and have one of them be the “He Wanted to be Dominated” episode. great work as always. I feel this way too but it does make me wonder how to instill a healthy respect and love of sexuality in my students (10th and 12th grade ethics courses) without of course losing my job or having a mob come after me?

I concur on your thoughts about why some people need to fuck during stressful times while others lose their sex drive. I think the latter group is not comfortable with their sexuality and/or they negatively judge wanting sex for anything other than romance and making babies. They are uptight, conflicted, and stressed.
